The Positivity Project

What is the Positivity Project?

Why are you so positive all the time?”
“How are you so positive all the time?”
“You’re the most positive person I know. How do you do that?”

Those are the kind of questions that I have been asked my whole life, and the type of questions that led me to create The Positivity Project, in order to help support others during the lockdown of 2020.
I decided that rather than telling people what to do, I would show them the ways in which I nurture myself and invite them to try some of these wellbeing practises for themselves…

I created a series of live social media videos and posts which describe what I call positivity practises. Essentially they are 14 ways in which we can all uplift our mindset and improve our wellbeing.
I personally return to them time and time again- they have helped me to overcome panic attacks, grief, and heartbreak. Using them in every day life helps to maintain a healthy baseline of happiness and vitality.
Leaning into them when life becomes challenging, helps us to cope with stress and build emotional resilience.

The best part is, they’re all readily available and can be accessed for free!

Watch the videos

After sharing a series of well received videos on my social media page “Meditate with Marie” in November 2020, I was asked if I could repeat the project during the summer of 2022.
Whilst creating the content for the second project, I realised that there was so much more I could say about each of the practices, and that’s how the project evolved into a book!

Some of the videos that were recorded live, can be found on my YouTube channel…

The Book

I had the time of my life writing the book, which was edited and published by my good friend Carl Mynott. We are thrilled that it is beneficial to the people who read it.

If you’d like a copy, it is available to buy on Amazon. 1/3 of any profits generated from sales are donated to charitable causes.

“The author welcomes her readers with her warm writing style
I believe there is something for everyone in this book – who doesn’t need some positivity in their life?
I read the book in one sitting and found myself drawn to the chapters on gratitude, nature, generosity, and joy, but I’m sure I’ll embrace other activities in time
There is no pressure to adopt all activities, the author simply encourages us to see what works for us
I found this book so uplifting and inspiring and would encourage others to buy a copy and benefit from Marie’s positivity.”
